Well, the surgeon is working toward discharge. He came in and replaced the rubber bands in Jake's mouth and removed the staples in his head. He has to drink more and only take oral pain meds. We are apprehensive and relieved and happy and scared and.... Most likely that we'll be home later tonight. IV coming out. Whoo Hooo. Thanks to Alma who got some liquid food supplies for us. Wish us luck!
