In answer to the stitches question, I have tried to count his stitches and staples but he's having none of it. Tried to do it quietly while he was sleeping but couldn't get around there. It actually seems like his one forehead scar will be minimal and he can have Plastics fix it if not. The bad scaring could be in the hairline. So, hopefully he won't have inherited the hairline from my mom's side of the family or the hair will be receding in the next 10 years! He will have one bottom middle tooth missing for several months. Nick tells him that chicks dig guys without teeth! Any
comment on that from the girls? We were suspecting that teeth were just a bonus up in Humboldt! Jake says he'll hang out with the toothless farmers.

All this talk of scars and what chick's dig makes me think of Madeline Kahn calling Peter Boyle her "little zipper neck." If Jake can get the docs to work a zipper into his new look, he'll probably be all set with the babes.
ReplyDeleteTotally. Personalized scaring. Sounds like a new trend. I did count today but frankly I can't remember. That's how fried my brain is. He said to count silently as he didn't want to know so that hindered me a little. It was way less than I thought. Maybe 20 stitches on forehead and 20 staples on scalp.
