Right now we are down in CT for a post-operative scan. Should be back up his room soon.Denise is off to the motel to get some sleep.
He was very shook up when we got up to his room. "Coming out of anesthesia is never a picnic," per my sister Jean who's here keeping an eye on us.
I think between all the meds and anxiety over the surgery he was about to melt down. Just wanted to have his Mom and Dad with him.
After a bit he settled down and seems to be resting, comfortably for the most part.

He does look a lot more like himself! Everything's sorta looking back in line.

Jake will soon be back to his normal self mainly due to his dad, mom and brother -- an awesome little Hanten family unit!!!
ReplyDeleteHe looks great in the photo Jim. As cliche as it sounds, all I can think of is "bless his heart". I am sure the next few days are going to be rough but at least he is on his way to healing now.
ReplyDeleteOn the lighter side, it is too bad men don't think more like women - for many reasons, I'm sure, although that is far too deep of a subject to approach here. ;-) When Jillian had her jaw surgery and a wired mouth for 6 weeks, all she thought of was the great potential weight loss.

ReplyDeleteThis is great news, I have to say he's looking pretty fine, my girls on the other hand reckon he's starting to look hot, ok as hot as you can look after what he's been through.
We are all really pleased for you over here.
We are hoping that his recovery is a speedy one now.
Oh and I am a computer twit, I made a post for jake and forgot to push the publish button, all done now, stupid old woman, really shouldn,t be left alone with a computer.
He's really starting to look like himself again. My girlfriends who always swoon over the photo of him and Nick on my fridge (they are still too old for you, boys) will be pleased.
